About Me
_________

I am an education major at Maharishi University of Management (www.mum.edu) in Fairfield, Iowa. My love of drawing and photography led me to pursue my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at MUM. My love of my children, and all children, has led me to take up my second major in Elementary Education. 4 ( Elementary Education (B.A.) )

I was born in Toronto, Ontario. I am curently 55 years of age, and I am looking forward to many years as a teacher at a Consciousness-Based educational institution such as Maharishi School of the Age ofEnlightenment (www.maharishischooliowa.org ). I am a re-certified instructor in the Transcendental Meditation technique of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (visit www.tm.org). 10 I attended my training in this honored profession in Vitelle, France in September through April of 1975 -76.

I have worked in carpentry and in many construction jobs, including in automotive asembly at Ford Motor Company in Hazelwood, Missouri. I directed the Transcendental Meditation center of St. Louis from 2001 - 2004.

I have four great children - Michael (29 years), Elizabeth (26 years), Mary (23 years) and Daniel (17 years) as of 2008. Elizabeth and Mary work in the food service profession and Michael is an enthusiastic third-grade teacher in Baltimore County, Maryland. Daniel is aspiring toward the legal trade as well as being an actor, dancer and great scholar. Mary and Michael received "suma cum laude" honors from their alma maters and my artistically-talented Elizabeth, with her husband Nico, is my first child to be married. I am single now and am good friends with my extended married family -- and a devoted parent to my children along with their mother, Kathy.
